Denise Hood Overstreet

Ms. Overstreet is an engaging executive with a diverse background focused in oil and gas. Reputation for delivering exceptional dynamic results, deal closing, and developing strong ongoing client relationships. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from Southwestern Assemblies of God University and began her career in the Energy Industry in 2007 with Cherokee Horn Production LLC. After translating leases and interpreting for lease acquisition transactions, she was promoted to landman. She quickly became the go-to landman for difficult areas, and in 2009 and 2010, she helped dissolve holdout landowner groups in Arlington, Flower Mound, Grand Prairie, and Fort Worth, Texas – earning her spot as one of the top leasing landman for the company. In 2010, she was instrumental in opening Arbuckle Mineral, where she spearheaded the land team as land manager. While at Arbuckle, she was able to develop certain skills at curative title, investigating and uncovering hundreds of mineral acres with defects in title. In 2011, she co-founded Saddle Ridge Resources LLC, a regional mineral-acquisition company, and one of the only female-owned mineral companies in Texas. Her industry knowledge and network enabled her to secure investor funding. Since then, she has hired and trained over one dozen landmen, some of whom began with no experience in the industry. While at Saddle Ridge she was instrumental in scouting and locating producing units as well as securing mineral buyers. In 2013, she became vice president of Land & Acquisitions for Rock Shore Energy LLC, which owned, operated, and developed Class II saltwater disposal facilities in Oklahoma. She currently resides in the DFW area along with her husband and two children.
