Notice on COVID-19

A Message to our Customers Regarding COVID-19

Blackstone Title will remain open under the Dallas County shelter-at-home order, and you can continue to schedule closings on your homes and commercial properties as planned!

Title service providers are essential businesses in the financial services sector.

On March 22, 2020, the Department of Homeland Security reiterated that the type of financial services title insurance companies and title agencies, like Blackstone Title, conduct is considered an Essential Critical Infrastructure. Consistent with DHS and the President’s guidelines, “if you work in a critical infrastructure sector, as defined by the Department of Homeland Security, you have a special responsibility to maintain your normal work schedule.” Similarly, Dallas County has recognized that Essential Critical Infrastructure should also be excepted from its March 22, 2020 shelter-in-place order.

Recognizing the importance of continuing to serve the community in enabling efficient and expedient closings on residential and commercial properties, we at Blackstone Title are dedicated to enabling you to continue your closings and your business operations during this difficult time, and ultimately helping you overcome the obstacles this crisis has imposed on all of us.

For the safety of our clients and staff, we will be following the CDC and public heath guidelines related to COVID-19, the novel coronavirus. Please contact your direct Escrow Team with any questions you may have. As always, thank you for being part of our Blackstone Title family!
