Mr. Gaines served as a managing partner in the firm of Hitt Gaines, P.C., from 1995 to 2016 and has over 28 years of experience in the practice of law. He also has experience in the areas of Probate, Wills, Trusts and Trust Administration as well as experience in title examination and title conveyances. He has successfully argued before the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in Washington, D.C. Mr. Gaines has co-chaired various complex litigation matters and has counseled Fortune 500 corporations with respect to diverse types of intellectual property matters. Mr. Gaines is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the U.S. Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas. He is also licensed to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and is a member of the Dallas Bar Association.
Mr. Gaines values a high-level of personalized service to his clients and uses his communication and analytical skills to achieve that goal. Mr. Gaines is a Deacon at the First Baptist Church of Dallas, where he serves in the Ethics and Religious Liberty Ministry.
